Paris Doing Time


Okay someone explain to me why Paris Hilton who is spending maybe 23 days in JAIL (not prison people but county jail) is major news? I have sit hear all day working from home watching "Breaking News" of Paris attending the MTV Movie Awards and then going directly to jail.

I admit I do not know Paris Hilton, she may be a very nice girl but... you know I have seen enough of her on E!, Extra, and The Insider that I feel like she is one of my very best friends. I hear about her fun with Nicole, her feuds with Lindsey and her pantiless Saturday nights with Britney, I am jealous -- the girl has more fun then me.

As I sit here and ponder I come to the conclusion Paris did something wrong, what I am not sure. I know it involves her driving on a suspended license and not just one time. All I know is she did something wrong repeatedly, she broke the rules now she needs to pay the penalty.

What impresses me is her support system,she was escorted to jail by her Mother and her Sister. All I know is if that age I was spending a few weeks in jail for breaking the law my Mother and my Sister would be the last two people who would escort me - they might water my plants, if I beg long and hard and promised to smuggle out a fabulous orange jump suit for them.

Paris also had a group of "fans" or friends who were petitioning the Governor for a pardon!!! Again I repeat a pardon!!!

so I decided to write down all the things that really baffle me about the entire Paris mania that seems to invade my brain.

1. WTF did Paris ever do to be this famous? She was born into the right family as far as I can see. She made a movie with Shannon whatsherface's ex husband of them having sex.

2. Why didn't Paris just hire a driver? She is a Hilton, heck she could have taken the shuttle bus at any of the local Hilton's - I have taken shuttle buses, they are nice, clean - a little bumpy. Hey that is a movie I might want to see "Paris Takes a Bus"

3. Who is going to take care of all her pocketbook pooches while she is doing "hard time"? I am sure her dogs have a staff, I wonder can I apply for the job as her animal caregiver?

4. What is her actual hair length? I see her with short hair one day, long hair the next day and it always appears to be the same style long bangs swept to the side.

5. If Paris was on Greys Anatomy would she have gotten the job as Chief Resident over both Bailey and Callie?

As I am sitting here typing this I wonder to myself why am I spending so much time wondering about Paris Hilton.

Okay I need a life.
