2008 In Review
I was told I have to do a 2008 in review post (I had no idea). It is a little late but here I go. The highlights and not so highlights of 2008
January - Quit a job I was very happy with and went to a job I was miserable at after 3 days. Went to New Mexico on the second day of work.
February -Found out my neice was going to have a baby GIRL!!!. Bought an IPod Touch. Went to Louisville KY for three weeks and Dallas TX for one. Watched Big Brother.
March - Survived a scary tornado. Finally got a Wii. Got a scary haircut that I like for exactly two days. Had a visitors from Michigan and a butt kickin garage sale.
April - Went to Las Vegas. Became a self proclamied Wii golf "Pro".
May - Became a Mac user. Survived a scary tornado. Went to Michigan to see my friend and family for Memorial Day.
June - Went to a Baby Shower. Went to dinner with my childhood friend Lynley and drank too much (mini reunion.
July - Welcomed Ava into our family. Purchased a beautiful pink Dooney and Bourke Chiara. Went to Michigan for July 4th. Watched Big Brother.
August - Saw John Mayer at The Verizon Theater. Spent a lot of time at the pool. At Subway for lunch every Friday at the pool. Cannot remember Labor Day, must of been really good.
September - Welcomed Sophie into our family. Went to Las Vegas again, broke finger while in Las Vegas. Lost a friend whom I thought I would never lose. Mourned the loss of my friend. Went to my High School Class Reunion, saw my friends Carla and Bob.
October- Continued to mourn the loss of my friend. Went to Michigan for the Wedding. Was elected to my HOA Board
November- Went to Angela and Adams Wedding. Did Wedding flower arrangements with Robin and Bria. Ate yummy wedding cake (peanut butter cake). Door busted with Mary Ellen, Mike, Bridget and Brian. Ate a yummy Thanksgiving dinner. Finally stopped mourning the loss of my friend, came to the conclusion must not have been that great of a friend. Cast my vote for Obama.
December - Had a nice Birthday and Christmas, Went to a cookie exchange, Played Wii with Mary Ellen, Played Texas Hold'em on New Years Eve, Drank too much Wine. Got Sophie spayed, Got Laid Off on New Years Eve (classy joint I worked for see January new job/hate.
