Born on July 26, 2008 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI.
Ava is just splendid, she has the longest eyelashes I have ever seen on a baby and a ton of hair (so much hair the nurse had to wash her hair twice).
Ava welcome to the world!!! My hopes are they you grow up to be a FABULOUS loving daughter, a loyal Grandchild, Niece and Friend and my personal wish is that you are brave and fearless in your pursuit of life and love. We have waited a long time for you to join our family and we are thankful for the blessing.
In my opinion you have the FABULOUS part nailed down already.

For Lisa Mueller
Dedicated to my friend Lisa Mueller who I can remember dancing to this song - you were HOT sister. Also dedicated to all my former co-workers, Robin, Tricia, Lenaye, Lisa, Lynn, Shelby-- I am sure you all can relate to me dancing just like Shelia E (joke). Poor customers who wanted to get their damn Visa's and here I was acting like Prince's protege.

Shout Out To My Cousin Annie!!!
Received this email from my cousin Annie and with her permission I am posting it.
I just completed the biggest personal challenge of my life. It was GREAT! I didn’t say easy. Now that it is over, it was GREAT. When I reflect back on where I was 3 days ago and what I was doing – it just doesn’t seem real – I actually did it. I, Louann XXXXXX, along with 6,500 other women, completed the “MORE ½ Marathon for Women over 40” in New York City at Central Park. I did 13.1 miles in 4 hours, 17 minutes and 30 seconds – placing me 4,540 (that includes potty breaks and drink stops). I am very happy with my time – I was there to finish not compete. I did finish and it was definitely the experience of a life time. I have gotten off the plane but I am still flying. Thank you so very, very much for all the calls and support that you have given to me. I couldn’t have done it without you.
P.S. I was there for the marathon but also spent several wonderful days touring New York City with 3 great friends and team mates. We toured a good share of Manhattan Island on a double-decker bus, saw a Broadway play, visited “Ground Zero” and learned a lot about the fallen Twin Towers from 911, rode the Staten Island Ferry and saw the Statue of Liberty, walked many, many miles around NYC, of course, we went shopping and spent our last evening having dinner in the View Lounge where we ate dinner and enjoyed the view of the city lights and skyline from the revolving restaurant above the Marriot. It was a very busy few days but we also found time to just sit in Starbucks and enjoy watching the people and the hustle and bustle of NYC. In case you couldn’t tell – it was a great vacation, even though I didn’t get much rest except when I was laying in bed with an ice bag on my foot.
